Clubs that have not been in their leagues top division within the last 5 years will have a significantly lower score (due to getting a score of 0 for that year). The difference between this ranking and the weekly rankings are that these rankings give you an idea if a club is under performing or over performing during each given year. The weekly rankings are more representative of a clubs current form and the 5 year rankings are more representative of the clubs dominance in CONCACAF (kind of like a dynasty).
