CONCACAF Club Rankings - Top 25 Clubs in North America and Latin America - Sep 4, 2012

     

There was only swapping of positions in the Top 5 this week.  After a loss, Morelia is barely holding on to the final Top 5 spot.  There will not be a lot of matches in the next two weeks due to a break for international play.

1.)  Toluca (Liga MX) - Toluca was able to hold on to the top spot with their second consecutive draw.  Toluca drew America 1-1 this past Sunday.  Toluca will be going on the road in two weeks to face the Jaguares (XX).

2.)  Tijuana (Liga MX) - Tijuana defeated the Jaguares 2-0 this past Friday.  This is their third consecutive win.  Tijuana will be going on the road to face Atlante (XX) in two weeks.

3.)  Cruz Azul (Liga MX) - Cruz drew Pachuca at home 1-1 this past Sunday.  Cruz Azul will be going on the road to face UANL (XX) in two weeks.

4.)  Leon (Liga MX) - Leon defeated San Luis 2-0 on the road this past week.  They will be facing Guadalajara (XX) at home in two weeks.

5.)  Monarcas Morelia (Liga MX) - Morelia lost to UNAM at home 0-1 this past Friday.  The Monarcas will be going on the road to face Pachuca (XX) in two weeks.
